First, go to a SOFAS accredited office furniture dealer or to a SOFAS accredited upcycler of office furniture as these are the only ones who are trained to our ISO standards.

They will register the individual pieces of furniture, identify each one with secure and specific innovative identification marking, photograph each piece of furniture and record your companies name, postcode and delivery address. 

A valuable record for asset management purposes.

Each individual product has a carbon calculation accounted to it when manufactured to which is added the carbon created by delivery to market and ongoing delivery to your business address within your organisation. 

This allows the SOFAS back office to produce the details for your dealer or upcycler to produce your invoice and for us to generate certification of offset if required. 

If your furniture is moved within your organisation, you would notify us of the change of location, and this would also be recorded and accounted for.

At the end of initial life or use you can request uplift of the items for recycling or upcycling when a code is produced by our back office allowing for the items to be tracked to the designated recycler or upcycler and records updated.
